I picked up the sails, parts, books, and other stuff from the previous owners this weekend. I put everything in a climate controlled storage unit near the boat in Rockland. It seems everything was in good shape and the owner and his wife were very nice people. Here are a few pics to show what came with the boat, and to document the condition of the boat.

New Electronics, B&G or Raymarine and $$$
Two quotes from the guys down at the dock, and a mock up of what it might look like once installed. I'll have to decide between B&G or Raymarine. I want to go with an integrated system and don't want to have various equipment that can't talk to each other. The B&G is a little more expensive, but has a linier drive auto pilot vs. a wheel mount. B&G also has a lot more sailing navigation tools. Raymarine is a little less expensive, but has a wheel pilot. The maps look a little better on Raymarine, but I'm sure I can upgrade the B&G. I'm also worried about the flexibility of B&G for a repeater head in the nav station. I'll post or add some of the pictures and quotes.

Step 1, buy a boat. Check...
Sold!! or Bought I guess. November 2012, I purchased a PSC 37, Hull number 206. She was built in September 1989. Her name is Daybreak, but after a proper re-naming I will name her "The Atlas". Pictures to Follow:
